Homebrew Absolver Species Details
Absolvers are a race of ancient warriors that fought the smaller wars relating to the Ancient Gods and Goddesses.
Absolver Traits
Though blind, Absolvers excel at taking on opponents with an ego as well as aiding their allies in unexpected ways.Ability Score Increase
Your Wisdom increases by 3 points.
Blindsight
You have a Darkvision of 90 ft, Truevision of 10 ft, and a Blindsight of 20 ft.
Ancient Ancestry
You roll advantage on melee or ranged attacks against enemies that are Fey, Undead, Celestial, Abyssal, or are of Monstrosity size or higher. Dealing a critical hit increases the damage dice by 1.
Blast Mine
When you take melee or ranged damage, all allied creatures within 30 ft of you take half of the damage as healing. This is increased to full damage as healing if the effect was magical.
Soulless Corpse
Costing 1 Bonus Action, an Absolver can take a fallen ally's corpse and give it temporary life until they return, basically acting as they were before but without emotion or care for others, like a puppet to the Absolver, though the dying creature must still make Saves until it fails or is brought back to life. While a puppet, the Absolver controls the ally's body.
Dark Revival
When an enemy is killed while an ally is downed, they automatically succeed a Death Save. If this causes them to be revived, they heal for 1d8 HP per Absolver level.
Castaway
Costing 1 Reaction, you can instantly teleport a single target ally being targeted by a non-magic melee or ranged attack up to 10 ft from you in any direction. When used, the attacking enemy is struck with the Frightened debuff until the start of their next turn and the ally you teleported away is given Inspiration if they don't have it and are healed for 1d6 HP per Absolver level.
