Race Name: Albineus Hedgeling
Physical Description: Albineus Hedgelings are small (between 2 and 4 feet tall) white albino hedgehogs with shimmering silver quills covering their backs. Their eyes are a striking ruby red, and their fur is soft and snowy white. Despite their diminutive size, Albineus Hedgelings possess strong legs that allow them to move quickly and gracefully. Their most distinctive feature is their ability to curl into a tight ball, using their quills as natural armor and weapons.

As an action, you can curl into a ball and roll a distance equal to your walking speed. While rolling, if you aim to strike a creature it must make a DEX saving throw (DC = 8+CON+Proficiency Modifier). On a fail, the creature takes 3d6 piercing damage and is knocked prone. On a success, the creature takes half damage and is not knocked prone. You can split your walking speed any way you'd like. For example, if your walking speed is 30 you can roll 15 feet, hit the enemy, and then continue rolling up to 15 more feet. This must, however, be in a straight line. Damage increases to 4d6 at 6th level, 5d6 at eleventh level, and 6d6 at sixteenth level. This can be done as many times as equal to your proficiency modifier per long rest.
Spikey Shield
As a reaction, you may curl into a ball and cast the Shield spell, granting a +5 bonus to your AC. You may use this as many times as your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Unlimited Quills
You have a specially designed short bow that allows you to use one of your quills as an arrow. You have an unlimited number of quills, as they grow back quickly. Use normal short bow and arrow stats.
Ability Score Increase
Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 1.
