Homebrew Automunculi Species Details

As creatures that are formed for a singular and often unique purpose, automunculi are incredibly varied individuals who are limited only by the imagination of their creator. An automunculus can be large or small, bright or dull, or even humanoid or not. The only given similarity is that they must be made from metal and be given a Heart.

As automunculi are made from metal, they are too heavy to swim and often even to be carried. However, they do not require air to breathe nor light to see, and the trait which keeps them far from the depths also make them incredibly resilient.

Though automunculi do not require sleep in the traditional sense, they do require rest and frequent maintenance to move properly.
