Homebrew Decayed Species Details

they are a special type of undead since they can still talk, eat, and sleep but they are not exactly living like you or I. Their skin has fallen off into tiny decayed pieces (hence the name) and their eyes become lifeless however they can still see just fine but the only positive is that the muscle from their body is intact. the spell is irreversible so many of the soldiers are stuck looking dead. the greatest problem is that their brains convince themselves that they are undead causing many rare cases of cannibalism.

this caused them to be stereotyped as nothing more but a bunch of mindless undead soldiers.
