Homebrew Animus Fractured Species Details

Animus Fractured strongly resemble humans, only they have no hair, mouth, or ears, accompanied by a stone-like skin color and a jagged split down the middle of their head (this split abruptly ends and begins at the base of the neck). On top of this already odd appearance, they have a strong jawline and slightly inverted cheekbones. Although their eyes have a black sclera with no pupils, they can see rather well in all environments. Due to the rough, "cracked stone"-looking split down the middle of their heads they've been simply nicknamed "Fractured" as opposed to their full racial name. Because of this habit many individuals who get the chance to see an Animus Fractured's magic-using side, are often dumbfounded and surprised by the fact that they can inherently use magic. It is unknown how Animus Fractured manage to use magic, regardless of practice or experience, but nonetheless they are often admired in military organizations for this useful ability. Although their bodies lack jaws, esophagus', or even standard digestive systems, they manage to speak through an unknown force; most likely a form of a spell naturally granted to them by their magical ancestry.
