Homebrew Deku Scrub Species Details

Deku Scrubs are plant based creatures with dark wooden skin. Their eyes are usually orange or yellow and small, but can reach larger sizes usually depending on age or status. They typically wear clothing made of leaves and in place of hair have bushes of leaves sprout out of their head. They tend to stay in the ground after sprouting for 3-4 years, before exiting the ground and eventually growing to maturity at 15 or so years. Deku Scrubs stand anywhere from 2 feet to 5 feet tall and have all the same limbs that races like Humans, Gnomes, Dwarves and the like have, though their arms usually grow in after their teen years.

You know the magic stone cantrip (you can also choose nuts instead of stones for the spell).
Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race).

Flower Glide

When you fall at least 10 feet above the ground, you can use your reaction to extend your skin membranes to glide horizontally a number of feet equal to your walking speed, and you take 0 damage from the fall. You determine the direction of the glide.

Water Hop

If you use your action to Dash, you can traverse over the surface of water or similar liquids until the end of your turn. If your turn ends while you are over a liquid, you will submerge into it as normal. Unable to be used with medium or heavy armor.
