Homebrew Warforged (Supervisor) Species Details

Warforged are sentient constructs made of metal and wood. They were created by the artificers of Ebberon to be warriors but have since gained their freedom. 

A Warforged (Supervisor) is designed to lead other Warforged into battle without necessarily engaging in battle themselves. They gain a +2 bonus to their INT and a +1 bonus to their WIS score and CON score.

Along with their leadership role, Warforged (Supervisors) frequently train as artificers to act as healers on the battlefield. 

They have superior darkvision to 120 ft. 

They are immune to charm, disease, magical sleep, and poison.

Due to their design, Warforged are proficient in the use of all martial weapons.

Warforged do not wear armor; rather, they have a chest cavity that accepts magical docents that are fabricated by artificers to provide enhanced defensive abilities much like armor works for other creatures. They have a base armor class of 14.

Warforged cannot be healed by healing spells or potions. They must either self repair using tinker's tools through long or short rests or by having an artificer use a repair spell on them. They may also use magical potions of repair. 

Warforged do not sleep; they "shut down" for periods of time or repair themselves. They must shut down for at least four hours in order to regain abilities, spell slots, etc. 

Warforged are gifted with exceptional skills of perception.

Warforged are immune to charm, disease, poison, and magical sleep effects. They are also immune to necrotic damage.

Warforged are designed to be proficient in the use of all martial weapons. 

Tool Proficiencies

Warforged are proficient with the use of tinker's tools which allows them to self-repair during long or short rests.

Warforged speak Common and one other language of their choice.
