Bile Elves

Bile elves, like other elves, have an unearthly grace and fine features,  Bile elves appear hauntingly beautiful to humans and members of many other races. They mostly share the same height average humans have, ranging from under 5 feet tall to just over 6 feet. They are larger than other elves sharing a weight class with humans, weighing only 145 to 250 pounds on average. Males and females are about the same height. They share the pupil shape of a snake, a dark Bile eye color, and the antlers of a fallow deer.

Bile Elves have darker skin pigmentation, Black hair, snake eyes, and antlers.

 Homeland

The bile elves originate from the Bile Deserts of the Chastani Empire. The empire controls almost all of the Bile Desert, The Chastanians are a prideful and brave people, known for their unrelenting boastfulness and their self-determination. The Empire is powered by the warmongering nobles and their entirely mounted army made to raid and pillage other nations. The desert sustained them all but the wildlife is extremely deadly and hidden hideouts of monsters are scattered throughout the Bile desert, causing them to all be at least decent at combat. Life gets very hard for anyone seen as craven and weak by the people, being a big reason for some leaving the nation. Almost the entry of the ethnic population of the Chastani Empire are Bile elves.

Bile Desert culture

Bile elves come from the Bile Desert, a large and magic-infused desert. they are trained for combat at a young age, and as the desert may meet their dietary needs, the animals can be very aggressive and cunning, making them vigilant and aggressive themselves at times. They are all trained to use heavier weaponry, giving them proficiency with Greatswords, Glaives, And Longbows. Their culture is built on martial might. Most Bile Elves live in the Chastani Empire, an Empire driven by Martial prowess and might

 

Exploration and Adventure

Bile Elves take up Adventuring for many different reasons, some want to gain Fame, riches, or glory. Bile elves are raised to be combative and to never back down from any challenge. For those who take up the mantle of an adventurer, it is just another challenge.

HAUGHTY BUT GRACIOUS

Although they can be haughty, elves are generally gracious even to those who fall short of their high expectations—which is most non-elves. Still, they can find good in just about anyone.

Dwarves. “Dwarves are dull, clumsy oafs. But what they lack in humor, sophistication, and manners, they make up in valor, and bravery. I must say, I wouldn't mind fighting side by side with one"

Halflings. “Halflings are people of simple pleasures, and that is not a quality to scorn. They’re good folk, they care for each other and tend their gardens, and they have proven themselves tougher than they seem when the need arises.”

Humans. “All that haste, their ambition and drive to accomplish something before their brief lives pass away. That being said they can all put up a good srcap, and we all can respect that”

 

Bile Elf Traits

Your Bile Elf character has a variety of natural abilities, the result of thousands of years of rough desert live.

Bile Training

Bile Elves are all trained to use heavier weaponry, giving them proficiency with Greatswords, Glaives, And Longbows

 

A Bile Elven who was not raised in the Chastani Empire or with Bile Elven parents will not get this modifier.

Unrelenting Pride

Being raised to aspire to be strong and command respect from the day they are born, it is hard to intimidate a Bile elf. Bile Elves are so unrelenting and prideful, that it can be to a fault, so any attempt to scare one will be met with blades. When anyone tries to intimidate a Bile elf they either do it at a disadvantage or the elf can completely negate the attempt but will be honor-bound to attack the perpetrator unless they roll at least a 17 in wisdom. With that being said intimidation seldom works on a Bile Elf.

Ability Score Increase

Your Dexterity score increases by 1.

Your Strength score increases by 2.

Age

 Unlike other elves Bile elves aren't as long-lived as the others, they reach maturity at the same age as a human and will live around 550 years old. But there have been some that have lived to be well over even the lifespans of other elves.

Size

Bile elves range from under 5 to over 6 feet tall and naturally have more muscular builds. Your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Thermal Vision

Blessed by a God for their past valor, Bile Elves can see in Thermal Vision like a snake for up to 65ft.

Keen Senses

You have proficiency in the Perception skill.

Fey Ancestry

You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.

Energizing Rest

Most elves don't need to sleep but enter a trance for 4 hours a day, but it is Different for a Bile elf. Bile Elves lost the ability to enter a trance like other elves, they have to sleep for 8 hours like a human. The antlers of a Bile elf will glow as they sleep, and give off a soothing magic aura ensuring a peaceful and energizing sleep. they are never drowsy and are always ready the moment they wake up.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and Elvish. Elvish is fluid, with subtle intonations and intricate grammar. Elven literature is rich and varied, and their songs and poems are famous among other races. Many bards learn their language so they can add Elvish ballads to their repertoires.
