Homebrew Verdan (Revised) Species Details
Verdan owe their existence to chaos. Descendants of goblins and hobgoblins, transformed by the shadow of That-Which-Endures. Their blood runs black, fueling their magical power, but what the shadow did not know, was that the Verdan would commit their own form of chaos. Instead of adding to the flames of unrest, they would turn their backs against what made them, and follow order. This contradiction within themselves would cause the magic that coursed through their veins to try and fight the Verdan themselves, creating strange outbursts at moments of emotional termoil.
Verdan (Revised) Traits
Verdan currently are THE newest race of Faerûn, and as such, are not as well documented. However, it is found that each Verdan has these traits:Ability Score Increase.
Your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Black Blood Healing.
When you take damage, you can use your reaction to spend 1 Hit Die and recover hit points equal to the spent Hit Die + your Constitution modifier (minimum 1). You can use this feature an amount of times equal to half of your total hit dice (rounded up). You regain expended uses of this feature after a short or long rest.
Wild Magic Outburst.
If you take damage, you must make a Constitution saving throw, the DC of which being equal to half of the damage taken (rounded down). If you fail the saving throw, roll on the Wild Magic Surge table to create a magical effect. You can choose to prevent this Wild Magic Surge an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain expended uses of this prevention after a long rest.

You can speak, read, and write Common, and Goblin.
