Homebrew Asura Species Details
Appearance
The Asura have four arms and stand taller than most other races on average, around 8 feet tall. Their dark crimson skin draws the attention of many who pass them, while the bloodlust permeating off of them forces others to look away.
Attitude
The Asura are a race of warriors built to slaughter. Most members of the race cannot control their bloodlust once it's been unleashed. Only through extensive training can an Asura learn such control. The Asura respect powerful warriors and will put their lives on the line for any ally on the battlefield. The Asura find it honorable to die in battle and often fight foes much stronger than them.
Asura Traits
Asura find most of their power from the potent demonic blood that flows through their veins.Natural Protector
Whenever an enemy is within 5 ft of an ally and you are within 40 ft of that ally you can move between them. You gain 1d6 temporary hit points and the enemy is forced to attack you its next turn.
For every two levels increase the amount of temporary hit points gained by 1d6.
Bloodthirsty
The indomitable bloodlust of an Asura grants proficiency in Intimidation.
Armed
The Asura have four arms that can each hold a heavy weapon if needed (only two ranged weapons).
When holding more than two heavy weapons or two heavy ranged weapons:
Reduce movement speed and the range of Natural Protector by 10 ft.
Each weapon deals 50% of its normal damage when used to attack. (Roll all dice normally then divide by 2)
All weapons can be used to attack at once at the cost of an action and a bonus action. (+7 to hit roll)
Ability Score Increase
Your Strength and Constitution scores increase by 2. In exchange, your Intelligence score decreases by 1.
Age
Asura matures faster than humans becoming fully mature at around 15. Asura also live longer, reaching the age of 140 if they don't die on the battlefield first.
Size
Asura tower over most humans and are very muscular. Your size is Large.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common, Giant, and Infernal.
