Homebrew Warframe - Xaku - Species Details

XAKU

Forged from the remnants of lost Warframes, they channel the spirits of the Void. This is Xaku, the fragmented, the restored. In the concert of mayhem, Xaku is a law unto themselves. Of the Void  ethereal, yet coalesced into corporeal shape, the fractured anomaly Xaku exists as an entity thrice entwined. Fused from the shattered remnants of three warriors, they bridge reality to the horrors from beyond the fold. Xaku is a composite of three Warframes that used to be beneficiaries of the Entrati. Throughout the ages, the trio were lost to the Void. Over time, their shattered remnants fused together into the being that is now known as Xaku

Warframe: Xaku's Traits

Xaku has the following traits.

Ability Score Increase

Your Dexterity score increases by 2, your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Strength score decreases by 1.

Age

Warframes are built to last, and will not die unless destroyed. They do not show signs of deterioration due to age. A typical Warframe is between two to fifteen years old.

Alignment

Most Warframes are build for a purpose, and therefore tend toward law and neutrality. A Warframe has a tendency to adapt the morality of those they travel with and serve.

Size

Warframes are between 7 and 8 feet tall, but their weight varies quite differently depending on materials made. Regardless, your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Xaku's Composition

Xaku possesses a few void born abilities to make themselves stronger.

• Once per short rest, you can use Xata's Whisper, applying Void damage for an extra 1d6 per any weapon based attack for that combat scenario.
• Once per short rest, you can use Grasp of Lohk to disarm your oppenents forcing them to make a constitution saving throw. (DC 8 + Constitution + Proficiency Bonus)
• Once per short rest, you can use The Vast Untime to temporarily shed the outer pieces of xaku in a destructive blast, then stalk the battlefield in a new, swifter skeletal form. enemies damaged by the body shrapnel are rendered weaker to void damage. Shrapnel damage 1d12 per enemy. ( Out of Combat Xaku is capable of shedding their outer pieces as part of an act per DM's Allowance.)

Warframe Armor

Warframes all have a natural armor of 11 + your Dexterity Modifier + your proficiency bonus, a benefit to their metal skin and infested flesh. You gain no benefit from wearing armor, but you can still use a shield as normal.

Warframe's Physicality

All Warframes are built for battle, and therefore are outfitted with a slew of abilities.

• You have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage.
• You are immune to disease.
• You don’t need to eat, drink, or breathe.
• You don’t need to sleep and don’t suffer the effects of exhausted due to lack of rest, and magic can’t put you to sleep.
• Your jumping height is doubled.
• You have enhanced senses, and therefore have blindsight up to 10 feet and darkvision up to 60 feet.

• When you take a long rest, you must spend at least six hours in an inactive, motionless state, rather than sleeping. In this state, you appear inert, but it doesn’t render you unconscious, and you can see and hear as normal.

• You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and one language of your choice.
