Homebrew Woven Species Details
History
Through an obscure event the Weave may be damaged or even collapse. The formation of a Woven is when the threads of the Weave detach from the raw magic it acts as a bridge to just moments before collapse. This allows for a phenomena comparable to an implosion, but with the magical connection severed, not all of the thread is dispelled. The remnants imbue a recently deceased corpse, or, if a large section of the Weave has fallen, the remaining threads create a body with a heavy resemblance to a human. If a corpse was used as a medium, the body formed will have no sign of its previous state. Then the threads will act as a "soul" for the form until death.
The recorded history of the Woven is scare, yet dates back to the beginnings of magic itself. Tragically the few known struggles of the race are mistaken for human accomplishments.
Society
As such an uncommon race, they are unable to properly form a culture. Should two of the kind meet the interactions between fellow Woven is most peculiar. While unnoticeable to those around them, Woven are unmistakable to one another due to their ability to see the other's connection to the Weave. They are quite wary of one another as their "souls" coming into contact with one another accelerates the process of becoming threadbare. The only reason behind the occasional meeting is the need for another to confide in about the fragmented memories from the birth of the Weave.
Beyond these interactions their behavior is akin to the populace in the area they've settled. Near perfectly blending into a human civilization.

Original Race
Woven Traits
Emerging from the fluctuations of the mystical weave, the Woven are a race untouched by time, appearing fully matured yet bearing fractured memories. They do not age and are immortal, but the weave's constant attempts to unravel them cause unbearable pain, leading many to choose voluntary dissolution. The Woven lack traditional souls, their essence tied directly to the weave.Ability Score Increase
A mental ability score of your choice increases by 2, and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Age
The physical body does not age, yet the "soul" experiences an ever increasing agony. Usually around 300 years the deterioration from contact with the Weave results in an intolerable pain and voluntary dissipation.
Alignment
Woven are most often neutral with a disposition for chaos due to their fragmented memories.
Size
Made from pure magic, the body of a Woven is unable to support a large body. Ranging from barely 4 to nearly 5 feet tall, they are often mistaken for a human child. Your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
Darkvision
The threads of the Weave emit a dim light that enhances your visibility. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Magic Resistance
When others attempt to shape the Weave to harm, you can resist their influence. You have an advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Innate Spellcasting
Through a quick casting you temporarily bind the Weave to your weapon. You know one cantrip from the Sorcerer list. This trait also allows you to cast detect magic once per long rest. The mental ability score increased by this race is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Weave Dependency
Your very existence is tied to the Weave. As such, when in an Antimagic Field or area devoid of the Weave you suffer one level of exhaustion for every ten minutes within. This does not increase exhaustion above the fourth level.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
