Homebrew Canine Species Details

A Canine is a quadruped race with heightened senses and loyalty, granting an advantage on perception checks and the ability to track scents. They have limited communication abilities, like barking and/or growling, and have a natural bite attack. They excel in roles where their keen senses and loyalty are valued, including tracking, guarding, and/or assisting allies in combat. A canine can use a single melee weapon if wished to, but that would inhibit their natural bite attack. Their fur layer gives them an advantage to the cold.

Enhanced senses can be used to track enemies and/or find hidden objects using your enhanced senses of smell and hearing.

Quadreped

Despite being on all fours and having no hands or opposable thumbs, you can however put your mouth to use and wield weapons in your chompers if you wish. You will need your mouth free of anything if you wish to communicate clearly or attempt to interact with anything via using your mouth.
