The Badger of the mist is specifically adapted to climb trees. Its strong, hooked claws allow it to scramble up trees and softer surfaces to better attack predators, and to pounce on prey. A favorite of Oberon, one of the Fey wild’s arch fey. Always up to some sort of mischievous activities, Badgers thrived in dangerous domain thanks to a special boon from a supernatural knack for finding the weak spots in foes larger than themselves and for getting out of trouble. Badgers brought this fey boon with them to worlds across the Material Plane, even if they don’t remember the fey realm they inhabited before Mankind's rise. Now many foxes pursue their own destinies, escaping the plots of both arch fey and the gods. The Mist is a relatively solitary animal with nocturnal habits. They can be distinguished from the typical Badger by their smaller size and bushy, black-tipped tail. If you find yourself in Badger of the Mist habitat, look up! They possess the unique ability to climb trees, setting them apart from other Badgers.

Ability Score Increases

When determining your character’s ability scores, increase one score by 2 and increase a different score by 1, or increase three different scores by 1. Follow this rule regardless of the method you use to determine the scores, such as rolling or point buy. The “Quick Build” section for your character’s class offers suggestions on which scores to increase. You can follow those suggestions or ignore them, but you can’t raise any of your scores above 20.

 Life Span

The typical life span of a Badger of the Mist is enhanced by the Fey, they have been known to reach 450 years of age.

Height and Weight

The Badger of Mist is named for its coloration; however, its coat is not entirely gray. They are covered in areas of rust, white and black fur with their most distinguishing characteristic being the black tip on its tail. The Badger Mist is shorter and stockier than the other Badgers, who's most distinguishing characteristic is a white-tipped tail, and the unique ability to walk upright.

As a Badger, you have the following racial traits.

You are a Fey. You are also considered a beast for any prerequisite or effect that requires you to be a beast.

Size

You are Small.

Speed

Your walking speed is 30 feet.

Climb is 30 feet.

 Burrow speed of 10 feet.

Dark vision

You can see in dim light within 60 ft. of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light and discern colors in that darkness as shades of gray.

Fey Ancestry

You have advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the charmed condition on yourself. Foxes only need to take 4 hours to sleep, instead of 6 and therefore must still complete 4 more hours of light activity to complete a long rest.

Badger just don't care he'll fight you anyway.

When you damage a creature with an attack or a spell and the creature’s size is larger than yours, you can cause the attack or spell to deal extra damage to the creature. The extra damage equals your proficiency bonus.

You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses when you finish a long rest, and you can use it no more than once per turn.

Nimble Escape

You can take the Disengage or Hide action as a bonus action on each of your turns.

With large ears and acute vision coupled with your ability to smell gives you advantage on perception.
