Homebrew Animated Ball-Jointed Doll Species Details

A Ball-Jointed Doll is an inanimate being made of magic, a soul, and a type of special magic resin. Only skilled craftsman can make even a simple body of a human doll, it takes a powerful wizard or sorcerer to put in the magic and the soul. The magic from the powerful spellcaster makes it so the doll can self mend itself over time (a long rest). 

Though you might not be 'alive' the soul inside you means normal healing magic and potions can be used on you, but, mending also works on your body. But, the magic in your body can leak out in a blood like consistency of any color of you choosing. 

 The steps to make a doll
1. Get a human sized ball joint doll (fresher the better)
2. Put the doll in the middle of the magic circle and put topaz, ruby, sapphire, emerald, and diamonds in little circles on the outskirts of the magic circle
3. Crack open a container the soul is in and put it in a little circle on the outskirt of the magic circle directly in front of the doll
4. Cast the magic spell in the light of a full moon
5. The spell will cause minor collateral damage but after the doll comes to life make sure it sees you first to let it know that you mean it no harm
6. A fake hair will grow on top of the head and act like natural hair and will stop growing when the doll is content with it
7. Teach it how to walk, write, and read. And down worry the doll used the knowledge from your magic to know some of what you know
