Homebrew Asula Species Details

Known to frequently fight against one another, the Asula are considered a mythical species by many due to how little actually still live in the present day. Many believe that Asula do not originate from the world they reside in, and some say that they were created by a powerful deity. Asula bear bioluminescent markings on their bodies that stay with them throughout their lives, though begin to dim as they near their death. Asula tend not to adventure or fight in general, and most are akin to a lone lifestyle away from civilization or working in a religious aspect. The body of an Asula usually measures 213 centimeters, with the tail being 75 centimeters. Asula have many subraces, though only one can successfully reproduce. Asula are irregularly attracted to objects that either shine or have a magical effect that could be helpful or harmful, even if they cannot see the object itself in the case of magic.

Asula commonly have two sets of arms and two sets of eyes, though in rare cases they can have more. Markings cover their bodies, sans their face. These markings are to believed to imbue their holder with a type of magical power. Asula are typically limited to one type of magic, but few have managed to learn others with extreme effort.
