Homebrew Zombles Species Details

Returned to life, they return to fulfil what they failed to in life. 

Zombles Traits

Magic death powers

Undead fortitude

If damage reduces the zombie to 0 hit points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is radiant or from a critical hit. On a success, the zombie drops to 1 hit point instead.

Ability Score Increase

Constitution increases by 1, Wisdom increases by 2

Languages

They can read and speak Common, and a language of your choice

Cursed

A slower but more deadly variant, they feature a deadly bite that can spread their curse.

Burden of the Curse

Walkers have a walking speed of 20ft.

Spread the Curse

Adds a powerful attack that can raise those it slays. They bite their target, dealing 2d10 necrotic damage. If the target is killed by this, and is a humanoid of medium size, the return as a zombie. The zombie is friendly to you and your allies, and can be ordered to take an action if you use your bonus action to do so. Else, it will attack those hostile to you and itself. The zombie inherits the initiative of the enemy it was raised from if applicable, else it takes its turn directly after you.

Only on zombie from this feature can be active at a time. The zombie lasts until the end of your next long rest, when it instantly dies unless you choose to expend your use of this feature.

This ability can be used once per long rest.

Ghoul

A Ghouls power comes from the corpses that it feasts on.

Feast

The ghoul can feast on the corpse of a medium humanoid for 10 minutes to regain all lost health. The corpse is destroyed during this, but the equipment it had is left. Feasting can be done during a short rest. This may be done once per long rest.

Bite

Ghouls use their deadly bite as a natural weapon that you are proficient with. Targets take 1d8 necrotic damage on hit.

Revenant

The Revenant seeks revenge for an act that wronged them in life, and will not rest until they have their vengeance .

Hatred's Bond

The Revenant can mark a creature who attacks it, and knows the distance and direction of that target until the Revenant attacks that target. Only one target can be marked at a time. Marking a new creature removes the mark on the previous target.

Undying

At the start of each of its turns, if above 0 hit points, the Revenant regenerates health equal to half its level rounded up.
