Homebrew Basilisk Species Details

These reptilian humanoids evolved from the more well known monster with a petrifying gaze, tho these are less likely to try and kill you on sight. Equiped with sharp claws which make them excellent diggers, acidic spit, a bite of which rivals that of a crocodile, and of course a glare that paralyzes any that cross it.

Paralyzing gaze

You strain your eyes towards a target. They make a wisdom save DC (8+proficiency bonus+ WIS mod) or become paralyzed for 1 minute.

Ability score increase

You gain a +2 CON and +2 DEX but also a -1 CHA to add to your stats during character creation.
