Homebrew Anubi Species Details

A race created in the image of a certain deity; these jackal-like people have a propensity for sensing intention. Their fur is typically black, but can also come in a variety of colors. Common colors include muted, less vibrant, or pastel and pale colors, while more rare colors are vibrant and full. Their willpower and perception allows them to become fighting machines, but this stereotype can also be horribly damaging. Seen as strong and undeterred, anubi can easily feel overwhelmed when met with the pressures of being unafraid and impressively strong and fast. Having the ability to sense emotions and intentions can be stressful at times, learning things they might've otherwise not wished to know, but thus is the burden of reading such things.

You are proficient in the Animal Handling or Insight skill. Additionally, you have blindsight out to 10 ft that relies on semi-psychic abilities instead of hearing.
