Homebrew Apisian Species Details
Apisians are a race of small, humanoid bees, known for their industrious nature and strong sense of community. They have a chitinous exoskeleton that provides them with natural armor, and their bodies are covered in short, fine hair. Their eyes are large and compound, giving them excellent vision. Apisians have two pairs of translucent wings that allow them to fly, and a prominent stinger for defense.
They live in hives, often built in secluded forest areas or hidden valleys, where they work together to gather resources, create intricate structures, and protect their queen. Apisians are deeply connected to nature and are excellent herbalists and alchemists, often trading their natural remedies and potions with other races. Plants and plant-based creatures recognize the Apisians as allies, further emphasizing their harmonious relationship with nature.
Apisians value order, cooperation, and the well-being of their hive above all else. They are cautious and quick to defend their home but are also curious and eager to explore the world beyond their hive.
