Homebrew Chaosborn Species Details
The chaos-born appear in many forms. Since they are created by the Weave, however, most of the time they only appear vaguely humanoid. Oftentimes they have multicoloured skin. Some appear very similar to common races, such as humans, elves, and dwarves. However, there is always something that betrays their chaotic heritage. They may not bleed, they may have glowing eyes and they appear in many shapes and sizes. They do not identify with a certain gender most of the time.

You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects
Astral surge
Once per short rest, as a bonus action you can roll a d6 to determine the effect of the Astral Surge:
1.Flare of Chaos: The being emits a burst of chaotic energy. All creatures within a 10-foot radius must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 1d8 force damage.
2. Ethereal Step: The being can teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space they can see.
3. Chaotic Shield: The being gains a +2 bonus to AC and saving throws until the start of their next turn.
4. Surge of Vitality: The being regains hit points equal to 1d6 + their Constitution modifier.
5. Arcane Pulse: The being's next spell cast within the next minute deals additional damage equal to their proficiency bonus.
6. Wild Magic: Roll on the Wild Magic Surge table to determine the effect, as described in the Wild Magic Sorcerer subclass.
Chaotic Aura
Creatures within 5 feet of the being have disadvantage on concentration checks to maintain spells
Ability Score Increase
Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your intelligence score increases by 1.
Age
Tieflings mature at the same rate as humans but live a few years longer.
Size
Tieflings are about the same size and build as humans. Your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision
Thanks to your infernal heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

You can speak, read, and write Common and Celestial.
