Homebrew Carcharodon Species Details

Not much is known about the carcharodon People, they are typically found in either their island bound and floating villages, coastal villages, or on ships. They are at home in deep water and on beaches, and are willing to fight for what they believe in. They combine their physical abilities in battle with savage guerilla tactics that make them excellent commanders as well as valuable shock troops.

Fins and Rough Skin

The carcharodon people are tall barrel-chested, humanoids with heads resembling those of Different species of sharks. Their Large powerful bodies are covered by a tough leathery hide as rough as sandpaper. They often ornament their fins with small piercings like metal rings or studs.

The rough sandpaper like skin of the carcharodon people appears to be pulled taut against their bodies allowing for much higher muscular definition and typically acts as a deterrent against unarmed attacks. The legs and tail of the carcharodon people are incredibly powerful, packed full of heavy muscle and allow for bursts of speed on land and are what allows for their incredible speed underwater. While female carcharodon are typically a foot larger than the males in terms of height and length, Males are typically far more aggressive and violent when protecting those they care about.

Savage Strength and Loyalty

The Carcharodon's are a Proud and Strong if isolated sea faring and island hopping people, often sought after by fishermen for their incredible strength and ability to breath underwater. They are most often found among the coastal village's and cities of the realm, as well as their island village's.

The carcharodon people will tend to vent their outrage through sport, fishing, or a pit fight, but they typically aren’t Aggressive. They are passionate, loving their friends and partners fiercely, and they laugh loud and long at good jokes.

Legends and Culture

Carcharodon legends describe a small Parthenon of heros who established the carcharodon people's place in the world long ago. Every carcharodon is taught of these legends. Due to their islander life style the carcharodon most often grow up to be Fishermen and sailors, The carcharodon people typically tell their children the legends and stories to instill a sense of courage and Loyalty in them. The culture of the island hopping carcharodon people is one of Loyalty, Courage, and Kinship, focusing on the worship of a small handful of God's and being rather open to outsiders who wish to learn.
