Hellhounds are in the lowest-ranking tier of Hell's hierarchy system, along with Imps.Because of this, the majority have a servitude role and used primarily for labor or work to the point that their service is advertised by businesses. It's also implied Hellhounds can be pets for other demons.

 

 

Hellhound orphans can be adopted by other demon species in animal shelter-esque adoption centers.

Abilities Human disguise - Some Hellhounds have been shown to be able to don a human appearance on Earth. These disguises typically retain some traits of their true demon forms

Ocular illumination - hellhounds have the ability to make their eyes glow.

Enhanced senses - Hellhounds appear to have an amazing extrasensory type of smell for tracking a target by sniffing an item that identifies them.  However, their sense of smell can be hindered by air pollutants

Quadrupedalism - Hellhounds can go from biped to quadruped.

Infernal Resistance:resistance to fire damage, making them more resilient against heat-based attacks.

Elemental Affinity: Enhanced damage with fire spells, and the ability to manipulate fire to create barriers or weapons.
