Homebrew Borrower Species Details

Borrowers are one-inch to two-inch tall people with equally as small fangs. They are considered a myth. They hide in houses and streets of towns and cities in stories. There is one story where one found one of these creatures and go deeper into their lore. It is said they only take what they need and nothing more, and usually the item is returned. No one believes a race that small can have intelligence, so many believe they do not exist. They have many clans within them, most known being the Dragon and the Phoenix clan. The Dragon and Phoenix clan where the first borrower clan to exist and where the lawmakers of the other clans. Setting common laws for all to follow. The Phoenix clan disappeared when the first clan war happened. They forced many to help them and stole many weapons and artifacts during it. There where many casualties due to such weapons and power and not knowing how to wield it. After the first clan war, the borrowers agreed to hide from the rest and exiled the Beetle clan, the ones who first started such a gruesome war. They have taken or destroyed much info as possible about them and the war. They have hidden or tossed away most of the weapons gotten from the war, and has done their best to put the artifacts back where they belong. But, another war between the clans is starting once again. Many chose to stay and wait out the war, even though the Dragons have left. Others seek glory in the second clan war and look for the surviving weapons from the first one. And very few, they chose to run. Abandoning their kin and families.
