Homebrew Arcanic Species Details

The arcanic child stood up, hid face bruised and his body bloody. His eyes turned black with rage and hatred as shadows erupted from his body to gather around him. The human boy who had hurt him fell back in fear.

"What are you?" the boy asked.

"I am a child of Oblivion. And I've come for revenge!"

 

Arcanics, in many eyes, shouldn't exist. When humans were one of the only known races, arcanics were second dominant. Most arcanics were viewed as monsters and kept in slave camps and experimented on or they were killed on sight. When the other races made themselves known, humans hoarded arcanics, seeing their magic as a weapon to control. Now, arcanics are almost extinct and have half the power they had before but are still powerful goes if you oppose them.

You can see in dim light as if it were bright light and darkness looks like dim light. You can't tell apart colors in dark light.

You have advantage on charisma(intimidation) checks.
