Homebrew wolf dragon pup Species Details

Wolf dragons are part wolf, part dragon. They are covered in fur and have no scales. Some magic spells require a wolf dragon scale. The only way to obtain a wolf dragon scale is to find one from a wolf dragon egg. They can live for up to 1050 years. They mature at the same rate as regular dragons. They eat even more often than regular dragons. They consume even more food than regular dragons, and it doesn't take long for them to become hungry again afterwards. They have wings, but even their wings are covered in fur. The older they get, the less energy they have. Young wolf dragons can fly at high speeds for a lot longer. They have a flying speed of one hundred feet, and a walking speed of fifty feet. Good nose

Wolf Dragons can smell enemies (or allies) up to two hundred feet away. Can also use this to track something up to one thousand feet away. Cannot track something if it passed by an area more than four weeks ago.

Fur

Wolf dragons have disadvantage on attack rolls when in a hot environment such as a desert or mesa.

Paws

Wolf dragons have disadvantage on attack rolls if they require hands when in dragon form. Does not apply when disguised as a human or humanoid.
