Bloodscale crocodilians are like normal crocodilians but have scale color of blood this change from thier ritual call Bloodmoon Trial Ritual and when they pass this trial thir scale change and had prolonging life magic with this they can live up to 300 years or more

Hatchling Trials

Upon Hatching, young Bloodscales are immediately thrust into their first trial. Under the supervision of their parents and tribal elders, thehatchling must fight a juvenile crocodile. this trial is both a test of their innate ferocity and lesson in survival, teaching them the dundamental skills needed  to thrive in their hasrsh environment. And one who win this fight elders and their parent will had high hope of them to become great warriors for their tribe.

Bloodmoon Trials

When they turn 18 Bloodmoon Trials is next trial for them while bloodmoon night young Bloodscale must track and slay a mature crocodile that live in the deepest swamp by their hand without any weapon or armor  not to only prove their courage skill and strength this ritual will awakening of their ancestor power from their bloodline when they passed this trial their scales undergo a dramatic transformation, turning a vivid blood-red color. This change signifies their maturity and the awakening of their latent magical abilities. The red scales are not only a mark of honor but also grant them increased resilience and strength in battle. after the trials they will recived their tattoo.

Tattooing

Tattoos are not only decorative but also imbued with protective spells and ancestral blessings. These tattoos grow in potency as the Bloodscale matures and experiences the trials of combat. They serve as a visual testament to their achievements and grant them unique abilities in battle with tough enemies.

  • Age: Bloodscale Crocodilians mature at the same rate as humans but live up to 300 years due to their unique life-prolonging rituals.
  • Alignment: Most Bloodscale Crocodilians tend toward neutral alignments, focusing on survival and the strength of their tribe, though individuals can be of any alignment.
  • Size: Bloodscale Crocodilians are medium, typically standing between 6 and 7 feet tall and weighing around 250 to 300 pounds.
  • Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet. You also have a swimming speed of 30 feet.
  • Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Draconic.
  • Eyes: Bloodscale Crocodilians have reptilian eyes with slit pupils. Their eye colors vary, commonly appearing in hues of yellow, green, or amber. Their keen vision allows them to see well in both bright light and darkness, an essential trait for their swampy habitats.
  • Mouth and Teeth: They have powerful jaws filled with sharp, conical teeth designed for gripping and tearing. Their mouths are broad and can open wide, displaying their formidable bite when threatened or in battle.

  • Tail: Bloodscales possess a long, muscular tail that aids in balance and swimming. The tail is covered in the same tough scales as the rest of their body and can be used as a powerful weapon if needed.

Features

  • Natural Armor: You have tough, scaly skin. When you aren't wearing armor, your AC is 13 + your Constitution modifier. You can use your natural armor to determine your AC if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower AC. A shield's benefits apply as normal while you use your natural armor.
  • Bite: Your fanged maw is a natural weapon, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with it, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
  • Hold Breath: You can hold your breath for up to 30 minutes at a time.
  • Aquatic Adaptation: You have advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks made to swim.
  • Frenzy Assault: When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with a critical hit, you can make two melee weapon attacks as a bonus action. You can use this feature once per long rest.
  • Bloodthirst: You have advantage on attack rolls against creatures that have less than half their hit points remaining.
  • Relentless Fury: When your hit points are below half your hit point maximum, you have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws. Additionally, once per turn, you deal an extra 1d4 damage with melee weapon attacks.
  • Tattooed Power: At 5th level, you receive a magical tattoo that grants one of the following benefits: +1 Strength, +1 Constitution, or +1 hit point per level.
  • Empowered Tattoos: When fighting creatures with a Challenge Rating of 10 or higher, your tattoos grant you additional strength. Choose one of the following abilities:
    • Ferocity: Add an extra 1d4 to your damage rolls.
    • Endurance: Once per turn, gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
    • Swiftness: Gain an additional 10 feet of movement speed.
  • Hunter’s Instinct: You have proficiency in the Perception skills.
  • Lifesustaining Blood: By drinking the blood of a slain creature, you can gain temporary hit points equal to twice your level + your Constitution modifier. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
