Creatures of Legend
Cornsi are believed to have originated from a unicorn that was subjected to a botched transformation spell intended to turn it into a human. The unicorn, unwilling and resistant, caused the spell to halt midway, resulting in the creation of the first Cornsi. Over thousands of years, Cornsi have formed their own society, living in harmony with nature in deep forests or areas rich in magical energy.

Though their population is lower than that of traditional unicorns, Cornsi have made their mark on the world with their unique blend of plant and magical characteristics.

Cornsi also have psionic abilities, allowing them to communicate telepathically with other creatures. This form of communication is subtle and nuanced, often conveying emotions and impressions alongside words. It is through this psionic link that Cornsi share their stories, knowledge, and communal experiences, creating a deep sense of unity and understanding within their society.

Spirit of the Forest
Daily life for a Cornsi revolves around maintaining the balance of their natural surroundings and ensuring their own magical nourishment. They spend much of their time basking in sunlight or meditating in areas dense with magical energy, absorbing what they need to sustain themselves. Cornsi have a communal lifestyle, with shared responsibilities for tending to their groves, cultivating plants, and protecting their sacred sites from outsiders.

Despite their plant-like nature, Cornsi engage in various forms of art and expression. They craft intricate designs from leaves, flowers, and other natural materials, and their music, created through psionic vibrations, resonates with the very essence of the forest. Storytelling is also a cherished tradition, with myths and legends passed down through generations via telepathic connections.

Personality
Cornsi, while outwardly serene and composed, possess a cold, calculating nature that embodies a dark, twisted sense of order and control. Their connection to nature and magic has fostered a belief in their own superiority, seeing themselves as the rightful rulers of their forest domains and the magical energies that flow through them. This conviction drives them to impose their will upon others, ensuring that their vision of order is maintained at all costs.
