Homebrew Xylo Species Details
Small and amphibious humanoids, close relatives to the bullywug. The xylo originated on Xylorti but it was taken over by humans so that they could be close to the hypon mines on Voxala and Xexuka, this meant the Xylo were forced into the remote swamps and jungles of Xylorti when the humans put down cities but eventually the humans began to run out of water and decided to build water pumps and dams in the marshes and wet rainforests which intruded on the xylos' land, xylo feed off of several species of insect that in turn fed off of rotting animal corpses so when the pumps were built all the carcasses were incinerated so that the didn't get into the water which caused the insects to starve and then many xylos to starve too, this meant that when construction and maintenance teams went out into the forests they would find the xylos killing each other for food, they decided to interject and feed them but soon the xylo became dependant and when the teams would fly back to the human cities after a month or two all the xylos would starve, seeing this- the humans decided to send the xylos over to sketlarum but the huge void-transport ship was captured by allied Korger and Voxo marauders who took the xylos to Sikolik and trained them to become spies and hackers.
