Homebrew Demigod (Ares) Species Details

Godly parent

Every demigod has a godly parent, but they do not always know who that is. More often than not, their human parent is also not aware of the godly status of an ex-lover (have I told you Zeus is ****boy™?). There is this rule that the gods have to recognize their children, but at what age this has to happen is not explicitly mentioned. Resulting in children who know their godly parentage from as young as five years of age and resentful teenagers with an identity crisis, waiting for a sign from their godly parent.

Calling for a quest

Once a demigod is used to the fact that they have a godly parent, they can feel a strong calling to prove themselves in a quest. Sometimes to honour their parent, sometimes to prove them wrong and even more rare, to do some good in this world, because, gods know, we need it.

Neurospicy

Most demigods experience learning difficulties in regular schools. They do excel in training camp, just because of these learning difficulties. It helps them be aware of their surrounding in combat, think three dimensionally or come up with more creative and unexpected solutions. We love the neurospices here!
