Homebrew Canivex mix Species Details

A Demihuman with canine/wolf like appendages and senses. They tend to travel in pack like clans, and will often either take up a nomadic lifestyle, or claim an area as their territory, and defend it virtuously. They tend to be anywhere from 5’7” to 6’1” in height. They’re tails tend to be bushy and soft. despite looking mostly human. They are considered an infernal race, and rightly so. They do have fiendish blood in them. So while they may look like a cross between humans and animals, they are in reality more closely related to tieflings then anything else.

Canivex mix Traits

Your Canivex has the fallowing traits.

Canine Speed

 your reflexes and agility allow you to move with a burst of speed. When you move on your turn in combat, you can double your speed until the end of the turn. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you move 0 feet on one of your turns

+1 to wisdom

+2 to constitution (if dog)

+2 to Strength (if wolf)

Age

Canivex mature at a faster rate then humans but live shorter or longer lives depending on how they live as most live only to be around 40 due to substandard treatment and poor housing.

Size

 Canivex tend to be anywhere from 5’7” to 6’1” in height, and have builds similar to humans

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

You can speak, read, and write Common and Infernal.

Wolf Claws

 Because of your claws, you have a climbing speed of 20 feet. In addition, your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike

Pack mentality

When an ally is within 10 feet you gain advantage on attack rolls.

Darkvision

You have a superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
