As an Advanced Mimic you are no more than a ghost when you are without an object to become. As a bonus action you are able to implant yourself in an objects very atoms, becoming said object, however when ever you leave an object said object will break beyond repair. This is different to shapechanging, as instead of mirroring an object, you are temporarily becoming it. This form cannot last more than four turns.
Depending on the object that is possessed, the mimic will gain different stats or buffs.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write in common and elvish.
Shapechanger
The mimic can use its action to polymorph into an object or back into its most used form (in this case, one of an elf). Its general statistics are the same in each form. All items it was carrying transforms with it, dropping on the floor. However, the mimic can simulate clothing or items it doesn't have as long as it has contact to their skin. These items do not carry over transformations.

Age
Although elves reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, the elven understanding of adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience. An elf typically claims adulthood and an adult name around the age of 100 and can live to be 750 years old. An Advanced Mimic however is born matured, and live to the same age as humans. Keeping up an elven guise can become difficult after some time.
Size
Elves range from under 5 to over 6 feet tall and have slender builds. Your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision
Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Keen Senses
You have proficiency in the Perception skill.
Shape rememberance
Advanced Mimic's can't change into just anything. Instead, they copy an inanimate object they can see. However, after changing into something enough, they can retain the memory of what the shape looks like. More difficult objects take longer to remember, such as corpses or shelves.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common and Elvish. Elvish is fluid, with subtle intonations and intricate grammar. Elven literature is rich and varied, and their songs and poems are famous among other races. Common is an average language language, that Mimics know despite their shape.
