Homebrew Brain Maggot Species Details

Small in size, for a majority of a brain maggots life, it crawls around looking for a host. Once a host is found, it burrows into the body with any way possible via food,orifices or through the skin by biting or open wounds. Once in, it slowly takes control of the creature, learning it's language, feasting on its memory and eventually (after extremely prolonged contact), it can emerge from the host as a winged horror made up of the fears of its host

Starting at 1st level, any creature within 9m can be burrowed into as an action. The target must make a dc10 constitution saving throw or you gain control of it, enemies within 30m must make a dc10 to notice and become hostile to the creature you've taken control of. At 5th level, the dc of the saving throw become 13, at 10th level the dc becomes 15 and at 15th level the dc becomes 18 and at 20th level, the dc becomes 20.
