Homebrew Bat People Species Details

Bat folk are similar to ratfolk in terms of stats, however, due to their flight and how they see things, they play differently, and they usually stay underground or in caves, however some do take to the surface for many reasons.

Bat People Traits

As a Bat Folk you will be exceptionally good in caves, dungeons and dark places, but will have a few drawbacks because of that such as sight range and walking speed

Fury of the Small

When you damage a creature with an attack or a spell and the creature's size is larger than yours, you can cause the attack or spell to deal extra damage to the creature. The extra damage equals your level. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Blindsight

You cannot use your normal sight if what you are trying to perceive is in sunlight or bright light.

becuse of your natral acrobatics and gliding ability you natraly have a high Dexterity. you also are pretty smart thus  giving you a high inteligence.

Bat Folk reach maturity by age 5. Bat Folk usually live to around 50 years compared to their actual bat counterparts.

Bat Folk are about 3-4 feet tall. They have thin, lightweight bodies that weigh between 50 and 80 pounds. Your size is Small.

Darkvision

Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were bright light.

Glide

You can glide by falling from high places which can reduce damage depending on the height you fall of 10 meters
