Dark Energy and Appearance

A Demon Shadow Rock Borne's energy crackles through every inch of his or her tiny body. When aggravated they seemed to have a certain crackle about them. They have an ominous feeling to them. A sense of trickery. Demon Shadow Rock Borne average slightly over 4 feet tall and weighs 60 to 80 pounds. Their skin depends on the kind of Dragon born that father/mothered it. Though they are normally darker hues of those colors. They have a very tricky smile. Their fair hair has a tendency to stick out in every direction, as if expressing the Demon Shadow Rock Borne's interest in everything around.

A Demon Shadow Rock Borne's personality is writ large in his or her appearance. A male Demon Shadow Rock Borne’s beard, in contrast to his wild hair, is kept carefully trimmed but often styled into curious forks or neat points. A Demon Shadow Rock Borne’s clothing, though usually made in modest earth tones, the better to hide in.

Rock Borne Names

Rock Bornes love names, and most have half a dozen or so. A Rock Borne’s mother, father, clan elder, aunts, and uncles each give the Rock Borne a name, and various nicknames from just about everyone else might or might not stick over time. Rock Borne names are typically variants on the names of ancestors or distant relatives, though some are purely new inventions. When dealing with humans and others who are “stuffy” about names, a gnome learns to use no more than three names: a personal name, a clan name, and a nickname, choosing the one in each category that’s the most fun to say.
