I had never found blood so essential in religious practice, with the exception of the Aztecs. However, these were not a violent people. Only dangerously intelligent, calculated, and cold. What you think they know about you is only a mere fraction of what they truly know.
The Celrevese people are one of the oldest races to inhabit the planet of Ecrides. This being said, a lot of their day to day life practice goes unknown. The following is the most we can understand.
Home Bound
With their penchant for staying in their homeland, Celrevese are more physically less diverse. However, this does not stop them from having some of the more unique traits that biology has to offer. An individual can stand from 5 feet to a little over 6 feet tall and weigh from 125 to 250 pounds. Celrevese skin colors remain within shades of greys and blacks, and hair that is white with only the rarest exception; males might sport facial hair that is sparse or thick. Irises tend to be a mix of colors, often resembling oil spills. Celrevese reach physical maturity in their teen/adolescent years.
A Heavy Burden
Celrevese are stubborn and don't often care for routines to be changed. If they argue amongst each other, it will be about the details of something rather than the object, action, or idea itself. Their culture centers heavily around the idea of sacrifice and responsibilty to their community. They are less likely to travel far distances or for long periods of time. They believe the best use of their time is towards benefitting their empire and their local community. Within this realm of sacrifice and responsibilty, family is very central to these people. Funerals, weddings, births, and disownings are all critical events in a lifetime.

Celrevese people don't take kindly to strangers. It takes them a while to warm up to really anyone.
Level Headed
Celrevese are observant and intuitive. They notice minute details in their surroundings oftentimes before other people have a chance to take anything in at all. They're great at regulating their emotions and keeping a cool head.
