Homebrew Cervani Species Details
The Cervani are an elegant race of deer-like humanoids known for their deep connection to nature. Standing around 6 to 7 feet tall, they have the graceful build of a deer combined with the dexterity and poise of humanoid creatures. Their fur, which covers most of their bodies except for their faces and palms, ranges in color from light tan to rich brown, often with patterns that blend seamlessly with the forest. Males sport large, branching antlers, while females possess more delicate antlers, often adorned with small leaves or flowers.
Their eyes are large and expressive, typically varying in shades of green or amber, reflecting their affinity for the natural world. Cervani are known for their serene and gentle demeanor, with an innate curiosity that drives them to explore, document, and protect the flora and fauna around them.

You have the following racial traits.Creature Type
You are a Fey.
Size
You are Medium.
Speed
Your walking speed is 35 feet.
Deer Hooves
Your hooves grant you a faster inherent speed. Your base speed is increased to 35 feet, and when you move on your turn in combat, you can double your speed until the end of your turn. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you take a Short Rest. You gain another use of this trait on 5th level, and a third use on 11th level. Your hooves make wearing standard footwear impossible; any equipment worn on your feet needs to be custom-made for you.

Cervani have adapted to life in the dense, shadowy forests. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of yourself as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Natural Antlers
You can use your antlers as a natural weapon in combat. You can make a melee weapon attack that uses your Strength modifier and deals 1d6 bludgeoning damage on a hit. At 5th level, the damage increases to 1d8, and at 11th level, it increases to 1d10.
Druidic Heritage
You are proficient in the Nature skill and you know the druidcraft cantrip. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this cantrip.
