Homebrew Deep Fairy Species Details
Deep Fairies are mysterious and enigmatic creatures hailing from the shadowy depths of the Feywild's equivalent to the Underdark. These fey beings are steeped in the magic of darkness and shadow, living in the eerie caverns and twisted forests where light is scarce. They are often feared and misunderstood by other races, known for their trickery, cunning, and occasionally malevolent nature.
Despite their small size, Deep Fairies are formidable, using their natural agility, stealth, and innate magical abilities to survive and thrive in the dark. They possess a deep connection to the natural world, particularly plants and fungi that flourish in the gloom. Their appearance often reflects their dark origins, with features such as shadowy wings, dark-hued skin, and glowing eyes that pierce the darkness.
