Dracobun
Children of the Dragon and Hare

Origin and History
Dracobuns are the rare offspring of Harengons and metallic Dragonborn, born from the union of two vastly different yet equally noble lineages. As a race, they embody the physical agility and keen senses of their Harengon heritage, combined with the draconic might and resilience inherited from their Dragonborn ancestry. Dracobuns are a testament to the strength of diversity, thriving in both the wilds and in structured societies.

Proud and Nimble
Dracobuns vary greatly in appearance, reflecting the diversity of their lineage. Some bear scales like their Dragonborn parent, with colors ranging from metallic golds and bronze to beautiful silver scales . Others have fur similar to that of their Harengon ancestors, ranging from soft whites and browns to more exotic hues like silver and deep crimson. Many Dracobuns sport a mix of both fur and scales, creating intricate and unique patterns across their bodies. Their size also varies, with some standing as tall as a Dragonborn, while others are more compact, similar to a Harengon. Despite these differences, all Dracobuns are known for their powerful legs, sharp claws, and the ability to breathe either fire, ice, or other elemental forces depending on their draconic ancestry.

Independent Clans, Strong Bonds
Dracobun society is a blend of the close-knit, clan-based culture of the Dragonborn and the free-spirited, community-focused lifestyle of the Harengons. Dracobun clans are tight-knit and self-sufficient, with a strong emphasis on personal honor and excellence. Each member knows their role within the clan, whether as a protector, artisan, or leader, and strives to perform it with utmost skill. However, they also value the freedom to explore and often embark on personal quests for growth and knowledge. The balance between duty to the clan and personal freedom is a central aspect of Dracobun life.
