Homebrew Whisper Species Details
Whispers are ethereal, otherworldly beings shrouded in mist that are usually between 2-3 feet in diameter. They hover just above the ground, their forms barely tethered to the Material Plane. They communicate telepathically and possess a natural connection to magic, allowing them to manipulate the world around them. Whispers are mysterious and enigmatic, often perceived as distant or alien by other races. When they attempt to speak, other creatures only hear incoherent whispers. Due to the nature of a Whispers body it is unable to wear armor or wield a weapon. It is impossible to tell their age, or if they even age at all
