Abyssal Lord Traits

Abyssal Lords shape the very fabric of the Abyss, creating chaos and order as they see fit, both destroying and creating at will. That which they wish to live shall live, and those who they seek to kill are obligated to die.

Darkvision

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Abyssal Ability Enhancement

Due to your Abyssal nature, you are able to increase all of your ability scores by 8, and your maximum scores are set to 25.

Material Plane's Lord

Your creature type is considered both fiend and humanoid for the purpose of spells and features such as the Paladin's Divine Sense. Additionally, you are immune to being poisoned and diseases.

Abyssal skin

Because of your dark nature you have immunity to necrotic damage.

Abyssal Wings

You have the ability to grow and contract wings to suit your needs, granting you a flying speed of 40 feet.

Abyssal Summoning

Each Abyssal Lord possesses the ability to call forth a great and terrible abberation to serve them.

Abyssal Weakness

Abyssal Lords are powerful creatures, but they are not Gods. Interacting with the Divine is always a bad idea, and can sometimes prove fatal to the otherwise immortal beings.

In addition to this, Abyssal Lords are not perfect, and all of them have at least one weakness that they can never overcome. Each Lord is disadvantaged in a different way to the rest, but disadvantaged nonetheless.

Age

Abyssal Lords are old beings, maturing at 1000 and living for an unknown time. They are functionally immortal, and very difficult to kill.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common, Abyssal and two other languages of your choice.

Size

Your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 40 feet.

Alignment

Abyssal Lords, by nature, are chaotic. Whether they are good or evil, or neither, depends heavily on their age and goals. Younger Lords tend to find great joy in causing catastrophe among mortals, but older and wiser Lords are more likely to dedicate their time to maintaining their own realms than destroying others, sometimes even going out of their way to protect a particularly interesting mortal, or their interests.
