Human Species Details
Found throughout the multiverse, humans are as varied as they are numerous, and they endeavor to achieve as much as they can in the years they are given. Their ambition and resourcefulness are commended, respected, and feared on many worlds.
Humans are as diverse in appearance as the people of Earth, and they have many gods. Scholars dispute the origin of humanity, but one of the earliest known human gatherings is said to have occurred in Sigil, the torus-shaped city at the center of the multiverse and the place where the Common language was born. From there, humans could have spread to every part of the multiverse, bringing the City of Doors’ cosmopolitanism with them.

Why does it have to be Origin Feats? I love the fact that you can choose whichever one you want. That's awesome! Especially because it can include Magic Initiate and Tough, which are some of my favorites.
But I'd love it if you could choose any, like the Variant Human from 2014. It gave me so many storytelling options, because I could do Fey Touched, or Telepath, or Abberant Dragonmark, or Ritual Caster, or Actor (useless feat but so much fun to roleplay.)
Yes I understand how powerful it could be to have basically any of those feats I just listed. And the Resourceful power is already helpful. But man I miss being able to say "My species? I'm technically a human but I have this neat superpower to make me feel better about myself when I am surrounded by Thri-Kreen and Aarakocra and other incredibly cool species with ridiculous powers."

I'd be concerned if you weren't.
Ok
Appears to be 8'11" with maybe about 10ish total people being recorded at 8'+ since that sort of record has been kept. Iirc that's still under the scope of being considered Large, but it's also so extremely rare compared to Dwarfism and conditions such as that that would have people considered Small in the game.
So if this question was leading into can I play a Large human, history does not support it.
Background makes much more sense to me, as you have lived that background likely for years and thus would have become more proficient in the associated abilities.
Whereas with class, you are just starting your journey as an adventurer in that profession and have little to no training yet. Unless you are starting well above level 1, which by then you gain ability increases through leveling, which mimics what you are proposing.
The bonuses are tied to what those professions do. There is NOTHING that says farmers can't be smart, as there is no penalty to intelligence and you can pick intelligence as your highest stat even with the farmer background. You are trying to make an argument where there is none.
Also, the whole argument of rolling for stats before choosing your race to inform your class whatever bs, some people want to play a certain race, and not base it on the stats they roll.
I’m
Good
humans are good but kind of basic but still cool
