Homebrew Children of Ac'dhu Species Details
The, erm, "Children of Ac'dhu" are one of... Oristro's most unique races. One of Xiaorozath's most unique races. Such... Powerful creatures squirrels can be. At least... At least when you give them a great hammer. What was Archlich Vriseek thinking when he awakened that damn squirrel?
The first known Awakened Squirrel was a squirrel who would later come to be known, as Ac'dhu. The first archlich, Vriseek, went on a pilgrimage after the Great Forgotten War. An eccentric bullywug he decided to make himself a sentient pet, a squirrel. Finding any old squirrel he awakened it.
The man proceeded to spend years teaching this squirrel necromancy and turning him into such a powerful necromancer that he became the Second Archlich.
While Vriseek was being silly, Ac'dhu, who had been given that name (opposed to the name Vriseek originally gave him; Big Nutz) upon becoming a lich started to truly build Oristro. He went around the world, raising undead to live new lives, in a new home, give them another shot at the world. During this time he also managed to resurrect 3 long dead titans. One of them being Rhec'nas, a woman who exists even to this day. Ac'dhu led an incredibly prosperous kingdom after Vriseek died, and is why Oristro is as powerful, beautiful and loved as it is today. Among one of Ac'dhu's laws were a large population of squirrels needed to be Awakened and enlarged. And so, this divine decree and law, "The Children of Ac'dhu" (aka awakened squirrels) slowly but surely became an important part of Oristran society.

Squirrels are known for trees, even in Oristro, they generally flock to the icy trees they've become accustomed to. The Children of Ac'dhu can jump tree to tree easier than any other races.

Zippy
Squirrels are smaller than most animals and are rather fast. It's easy for them to escape enemies, and due to the intelligence of the Children of Ac'dhu, they are even better at getting away.
