Homebrew Aaismar Vryloka Species Details
A race that is half Aaismar and Vryloka they are known for their beauty unnaturally attractive as well their strength. Aaismar Vryloka carry the traits of both races to make a formidable and intelligent people. Aaismar Vryloka are primarlay of noble birth with very strong family ties. This race has an average life span of 200 years or more. Physically similar to humans with insightful, and a magnetic personality and a capacity to cast supernatural light. They have a celestial and Vampiric heritage. and have slightly larger canines but unlike Vrylokas, Aaismar Vryloka are not undead and do not drink blood however they still keep most of the characteristics. Aaismar Vrylokas inherit some the spiritual strength and charm of the Vryloka they move with blazing speed (7 square base movement) in addition to being hard to sneak up on they also possess a natural affinity for moving stealthily. In fact, their Vryloka heritage grants them quite a lot of power; not only are they resistant to necrotic energy, they have the ability to temporarily boost their own vitality when they injure or slay an enemy. they can forsake their class-based Utility powers and instead take racial powers that further draw upon their combined heritage; Unnatural Vitality allows them to gain a surge in defensive abilities when they kill. Since they have celestial blood they have no need for the blood ritual to extend their life. Aaismar Vryloka age at a much slower rate then regular humans though they are resilient and are much harder to injure they are mortal. Aasimar Vryloka are charged by the powers of good to guard the weak, to strike at evil where, ever it arises, and to stand vigilant against the darkness. From a young age, they are given advice and directives that urge to stand against evil to protect the weak and right wrongs. Posted Oct 18, 2018This is pretty rough, yo. Hilariously strong, and clearly made for the wrong edition with mentions of powers and designing with the "x+ 1/2 level" and "power bonus" stuff
And the Bloodbond ability is more of the same. Revivify from level 1 which relies on a mechanic not found in 5th edition and imposes a condition not found in 5e either

Posted Jul 28, 2019Is this a joke? Why would anyone actually run this lol? Lay on hands, revivify, random buffs when you kill ANY enemy, plus RIDICULOUS stat bonuses, with no drawback at ALL, at lvl 1.
Im done, you just can’t get anymore op than that, you just can’t.
At least make it so that their “vampire heritage” gives them the drawbacks of being a vampire multiplied to a certain extent, or require them to feed every day in order to be as powerful, or die if their need is unattended

Posted Feb 25, 2021This is clearly made with 4th edition in mind, and even then wouldn't be balanced in 4th edition.
