Homebrew Bloodwolf Species Details

A species born from a rare instance of a human been bitten by both a Vampire and a werewolf on the same night and surviving!

Bloodwolves possess the abilities of both parents' species and few of their weaknesses, able to transform, move at great speeds, regenerate, hide in the shadows and track people from great distances. They thrive in the night and gain great strength from the light of a full moon, but are neither harmed by, nor losing their powers, during the daytime.

Though it's not all upsides, Bloodwolves have an especially voracious appetite, devouring the blood, flesh and bone of whatever animal they eat, and should they go hungry, can begin to lose control and attack indiscriminately. They also have an especially heightened weakness to Silver, Mithril, and lest granted protection from a Deity, Holy Attacks

That said, much like most other races, they are not inherently evil, able to choose their path in life as freely as anyone else, and like many others, most choose to do good
