Homebrew Worg (Frontiers of Eberron*) Species Details
Worgs are a medium (about 4–5 feet tall) species of a canid predator possessing keen intelligence and the power of speech. They feel a deep connection and delight in the natural world. Worgs of the Watching Wood are devoted to the Devourer and the Fury, and this faith encourages them to rely on their instincts and intuition, as well as taking joy in the hunt and strengthening their pack.
Species Traits:
- Darkvision with a range of 60 feet. Keen Senses.
- Proficiency in the Perception skill and Advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.
- Bite: Unarmed Strikes Piercing damage equal to 1d8 plus Strength modifier in place of the normal Bludgeoning damage
- For the Pack: Help action as a Bonus Action.
- Natural Armour: While not wearing armor, Armour Class equals 12 plus Dexterity modifier due and thick hide provide natural armour.
- Quadruped:
- Cannot hold items in paws, and you cannot wield weapons or a Shield unless otherwise noted in the weapon’s description (see Steel Jaws).
- Can perform the Somatic components of spells with front paws.
- Disadvantage on ability checks that require fine manipulation.
- Carry a rider of Medium size or smaller. You also count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity.
- Can only wear barding (not regular armour for hominoids)... The cost is four times the equivalent armor made for humanoids, and it weighs twice as much.
- Climbing that requires hands: each foot of movement costs you 4 extra feet, instead of the normal 1 extra foot

You can use the Help action as a Bonus Action.
Natural Armour
Your dense fur and thick hide provide you with natural armor. While you aren’t wearing armor, your base Armor Class equals 12 plus your Dexterity modifier.
