Homebrew Anarim Species Details
The Anarim are a race of nomadic, friendly snow harpies who live in the icy northernmost regions of Del'Sar, far beyond the reach of most cities and villages. Known for their stunning white and silver feathers that blend seamlessly into the snowy landscapes they inhabit, the Anarim are a peaceful and welcoming people, despite the harsh environment they call home. They are renowned for their exceptional survival skills, their unique artistry, and their intricate songs, which tell the history of their people and the frozen lands they roam.

Ice Song
Your voice carries the chill of frost, capable of freezing the very souls of your enemies. You can use this ability as an action.

Effect: Each creature within 30 feet of you that can hear you must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier). On a failed save, creatures take 2d6 cold damage and are Slowed until the end of their next turn. On a successful save, they take half damage and suffer no other effects.
- Range: 30 feet radius, centered on you.
- Damage: 2d6 cold damage, increases to 3d6 at 5th level, 4d6 at 10th level, and 5d6 at 15th level.
- Recharge: You can use this ability once per short or long rest.

Ice weave
Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the ray of frost spell with this trait, without requiring a material component. Once you cast the spell with this trait, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have of 2nd level or higher.
Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for it when you cast ray of frost with this trait (choose when you select this race).
