Homebrew Creimire Species Details
The Creimire first emerged from the putrid depths of Dathria's Underdark in the year 400 in the Age of Metamorphosis. They are very adaptable, often nomadic with no real favor towards a particular climate. Naturally resistant to poison and disease, Creimire are exceptional hosts for diseases to grow and spread. The Creimire are driven by community, resourcefulness and most off all craft to their core. Exceptional in alchemical and mechanical craftsmanship to make up for their small size. Making vehicles, weapons, potions, poisons and all matter or arcane items they call Crei-Tech. Most Creimire are kindhearted merchants, nomads, laborers or craftspeople however there is a percentage that have a frightful reputation.
They are a zealous and militaristic swarm of disease and decay. Hellbent on spreading their plague across the surface, as they have already done in The Underdark in tales spoken by the Creimire. They are called The Gnashing Tide, a cult of Creimire that serve a mysterious god figure named Drepsotir. They use their Crei-Tech in conjunction with necromancy to make devastating siege vehicles and weapons of war. Along with a variety of mechanical undead abominations. The Gnashing Tide are ruthless and deadly, most Creimire forsake and fear them after being chased out of the underdark by the cult.
