Dovahkiin Traits
As a Human, you have these special traits.Dragon Soul
Racial Features
Dragon Soul
- When you reduce a dragon to 0 hit points, you absorb its soul. After absorbing a dragon soul, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier + your level, which last for one hour. Additionally, once per long rest, you can reroll a failed saving throw after absorbing a dragon soul.
Thu’um (Dragon Shouts)
- You can harness the power of dragon shouts, a rare ability unique to Dovahkiin. At 1st level, you know the Fus (Unrelenting Force) shout. You can use this ability once per long rest, scaling up as you level. At higher levels, you can learn additional shouts. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Strength modifier + your proficiency bonus.
Fus (Unrelenting Force)
- As an action, you unleash a powerful shout of force. Each creature in a 15-foot cone must make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier). On a failed save, the creature is pushed back 10 feet and takes 1d6 force damage. On a successful save, the creature is not pushed but takes half damage.
- This damage increases to 2d6 at 5th level, 3d6 at 11th level, and 4d6 at 17th level.
Additional Shouts
- At 5th level, you can choose one additional shout to learn from the following list, using it once per long rest.
- Yol (Fire Breath): Exhale fire in a 30-foot cone. Each creature must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier), taking 4d6 fire damage on a failed save or half on a successful one.
- Wuld (Whirlwind Sprint): As a bonus action, you can move up to your speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
- Laas (Aura Whisper): As an action, you can detect the presence of living creatures within 60 feet of you for 1 minute, even through walls and solid objects.
- At 11th level, you can choose a second additional shout from the list above or enhance one of your existing shouts. For example:
- Fus (Unrelenting Force) can push creatures back 20 feet.
- Yol (Fire Breath) can deal 6d6 fire damage instead.
Dragonborn Resilience
- Due to the lineage of this being, their Dragon God father has imbued them with inherent resistance to both Fire & Cold damage.
Voice of the Dovahkiin
- Starting at 10th level, the Dovahkiin’s Thu'um grows in power. You gain proficiency in Intimidation if you don’t already have it. When using Intimidation, you may use your Constitution modifier instead of Charisma. You also gain advantage on Intimidation checks when you use the Fus shout.
