Homebrew Beastkin Species Details
Racial Lore:
The Beastkin, embody both the wild unpredictability of nature and its inherent sense of order. They exist in a constant state of tension between these forces, representing the primal struggle between creation and destruction. These horned, bestial beings are as likely to nurture as they are to destroy, depending on which aspect of nature’s will they follow.
Many Beastkin are born in the depths of ancient forests, volcanic plains, or other untouched lands where nature’s raw power is most potent. They have a deep, instinctual connection to the wilderness and believe themselves to be the protectors of nature’s balance. While their brutish appearance suggests savagery, the Beastkin value balance above all, seeing both destruction and growth as necessary parts of life.
The Beastkin of Balance view civilization with suspicion, believing that the order of the world is often corrupted by the artificial constructs of mortal races. While some Beastkin dedicate themselves to restoring balance through cultivation and protection, others unleash chaos where nature’s forces have been subjugated or twisted.
